A long time ago, I wrote how to run
Visio 4.1 Technical with
Next version, 980927 had this patch included! I guess that I become wine contributor :-).
Back then, if you wanted to use wine with comdlg32 patch, you had to start it with wine -dll -comdlg32 visio32.exe so that you could use open and save.
And now, to more recent developments...
Note: I tried to install .zip format, but it didn't work for me. That's why you need first to install MSI 2.0 update.
$ /opt/cxoffice/bin/wine "C:~WB~WINDOWS~WB~SYSTEM~WB~msiexec.exe" /i \ ActivePerl-18.104.22.1681-MSWin32-x86-122208.msiAfter a while, it should be over.
